Wash and soak cowpea for 1 to 1.5 hour. Remove outer cover by rubbing

Strain the water completely, add diced onion, chilli, ginger, garlic and turmeric. Mix well and gring to a rough paste. Add salt and mix well.- 3
Make small balls out of paste, take a clean and dry cloth and press the balls into circular vada.- 4
