Soak rice for 30 minutes. Boil water add soaked rice and all other ingredients.

Half cook the rice and strain excess water.- 3
Cook mutton with salt and little water for 6 whistle- 4
In a pan heat oil and ghee add clove, bay leaf and cinnamon. Add onions after onions are done add ginger garlic paste and chilli paste.- 5
Add mutton (keep water for later use) add all masala items. Mix well.- 6
Add tomatoes and coriander leaves. add water and cook. Add curd adjust salt if necessary.- 7
After gravy is cooked completely. Separate gravy and mutton.- 8
In a heavy bottomed vessel put one layer of mutton. After that put one layer of rice repeat till all rice is over.- 9
After finishing final layer of rice put ghee and the gravy.- 10
Cover with a plate and keep weight on it. Can keep hot water plate. Heat tawa on a high flame and keep this setup on tawa for 15 minutes on high flame.- 11
